He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Gingles and Grace Koszan (Andy); his brothers, Robert, Johnny and Tom; his siblings-in-law, Marna Gingles, Jo Gingles and Fred Hennigar; and his parents-in-law, Louis Ewing and Rose Ewing.

He is survived by: his wife Louise Gingles; his children, Colleen Semeniuk (Doug) and Darren Gingles; his grandchildren, Brayden Semeniuk (Ayesha) and Cassandra Kitaguchi (Camden); his siblings, Joe Gingles (Marianne), Douglas Gingles and Mary Mann (Norman); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Martin, Fred Ewing, Tim Ewing (Marg) and Dave Ewing (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
