It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Lowen of Beaverlodge, Alberta, born in Coaldale, Alberta, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lowen and Justina Lowen; his wife Ruth; and his siblings, Henry and Maria.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Lowen (Joy), Carolyn Bartsch (Paul), Rodney Lowen (Brenda) and Byron Lowen (Larysa); his grandchildren, Brent Lowen (Lesley), Mandi Chabot (Dan), Juanita Bartsch (Reed Craipley), Barbara Toupin (Mike), Trevor Bartsch (Tennille), MacKenzie Lowen, Jonathan Lowen (Nadya Debogorski), Bryne Lowen (Merissa Elliot), Tia Lowen, Taylor Lowen (Zane Peterson), Baeley Underwood (Dustin), Reese Hodges (Kyle) and Anastasia Shevkun; his siblings, David Lowen (Shirley), Frank Lowen (Trudy), Tina Pierson, Margaret Peters (Jake), Anne Bartsch (Jake) and Mary Torgerson (Torger); his sister-in-law Marie Lowen; and also, Lennon, Piper Lowen, Scarlett, Ryker Toupin, Emery, Edyson, Declyn Bartsch, Dejan Oakes-Turudija, Nova, Ava Hoag-Lowen, Aspen Lowen, Rylee, Ryann Lowen, Hadley Underwood, Gleb and Damir Shevkun. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
