He was predeceased by: his parents, Karoline Winkelmann and George Winkelmann; his siblings, Lorraine, John and George; and his grandson Devin.

He is survived by: his wife Simone; and his children, Renee (Doug), Corey (Christine) and Rachelle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
