With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Laird Longmire (Beaumont, Alberta), born in Southampton, Ontario, who passed away on August 28, 2018 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Alice; and his siblings, George, Leonard, Gordon, Edmund, Ronald and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his former wives, Elizabeth Ann and Linda; his brother Bob Longmire (Robert); his children, Vicki Lake, Penni Watson (Tom), Joseph Longmire of Ontario, Thomas Longmire (Lisa) of Beaumont, Robert Longmire of Ontario and Linda Thorpe of Edmonton; and also Elizabeth Ann of Ontario. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a large family of friends.
