He is survived by: his wife Marion; his children, Duane Barker (Darlene) and Donna Barker; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Kiona Barker, Todd, Tamara Barker (Sarah), Cayla, Dennis Taekema and Ben Savage; and his siblings, Everett Barker (Della) and Marilyn Farley (Don). He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
In honor of his memory, donations can be made to the Canadian Energy Museum Leduc #1 "Buy a Bolt" campaign to rebuild the original #1 derrick, or a charity of your choice.
