With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Stanley Lassiter of Bassano, Alberta, who passed away on August 3, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bruce Lassiter and Mary Alice (Archer); his siblings, Shirley Mae, Eric, Mildred Nelson and Pat Reimer; and his brothers-in-law, Jake Reimer, Abe Reimer, Roy Nelson and Glen Schelske.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Agnes (Meidinger); his children, Barry (Leslie Hannah), Connie (Greg Long), Robert (Cheryl), Kent (Nancy), Brenda Lassiter-Oliver (Randy Johnson) and Darrel (Carrie); his great grandchildren, Simon Long Isabella (Nathalie), Everly, Brandon Oliver (Ashlie), David Long Nolan (Robyn), Marlee, Chase Oliver Arabelle (Amanda), Haynes, Colton Lassiter (Ashley), Brittany Liam (Khim Taing), Ariya, Adam Long (Shelby), Payden Lassiter Rayne (Christy), Loki, Wrennyn, Clayton Lassiter Penelope (Jennica), Clarke, Cody and Taylor Lassiter; and also, Nina Jensen, Leonard, Byron (Marlene), Tobi Hentze (Karl), Caral Beagle (Ivan), Judy Schelske and Lynn Powlesland (Jim).
