He was predeceased by: his parents, Osbourne Northey and Claire Pearson; his brother Lloyd Northey; his brothers-in-law, Danny Shaw and Doug Sten; and his niece Kiera Shaw.
He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Shaw, Valerie Sten, Vida Lewis (Rick), Wayne Northey, Terry Trainor, Vince Northey (Vicky) and Grant Northey (Jackie). He is also survived by his sixteen nieces and nephews; his twenty-seven great-nieces and great-nephews; and three great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
