He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Melinchuk and Lucy Melinchuk; his daughter Carolin Melinchuk; and his sister Violet Meda. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hauck of Bashaw; his daughters, Sherryl Barnes (Rick) of Kamloops, BC, Diana Melinchuk of Salmon Arm, BC, Linda Hartley (Brian) of Sidney, BC and Louise Grdic (Mike) of Malakwa, BC; and his cousins, Gerry Melinchuk (Sherrin) of Salmon Arm, BC and Sandra Hamilton of Vanderhoof, BC. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 step-children; 8 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren.
