He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sr. Tischer and Ella Tischer; his brother Eric Tischer (Barb); and his brother-in-law Richard Teske. He is survived by: his wife Helen Tischer (Marinoski); his children, Carolin Blum (Vern), Darryl Tischer (Rhonda) and Denise Stoik (Wesley); his grandchildren, Lance Blum (Jaylene), Neil Blum (Stephanie), Kristin Blum (Sherry), Landen Tischer (Cheyenne), Jessica Lockhart (Clayton), Devan Tischer, Stanley Tischer, Jared Stoik (Ruby), Dylan Stoik, Kyle Stoik and Courtney Stoik; and his siblings, Irma Teske, Richard Tischer (Evelyn) and Harry Tischer (Alma). He is also survived by numerous friends and family.
