She was predeceased by: her husband Mike; her parents, Peter Trynchy and Anna Trynchy; her grandson Klayten Szybunka; her brothers, Bill Trynchy (Helen), Joe Trynchy (Ann) and Steve Trynchy; and her brothers-in-law, John Szybunka (Sophie), Andrew Szybunka, Steve Szybunka (Mary) and William Szybunka.

She is survived by: her daughter Marlene Petersen (Stan); her grandchildren, Naidene Petersen and Michael (Sherry); her great grandchildren, Travis Petersen, Logan Petersen and Mathew Petersen; her son Don Szybunka (Lena); her granddaughter Rhonda Szybunka; her great grandchildren, Katlyn Szybunka and Adam Szybunka; her grandson Donald (Nadine); her great grandchildren, Rayden Szybunka and Lane Szybunka; her son Len Szybunka (Alice); her grandchildren, Crystal Szybunka and Neil Szybunka; her brothers, Peter Trynchy (Lorraine), Jim Trynchy and Nick Trynchy (Fay); and her sisters-in-law, Stephie Trynchy, Mary Maygard, Mary Szybunka and Emily Szybunka. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
