He was predeceased by: his son Michael of Banff; and his son-in-law Steve Gray. He is survived by: his parents, Stuart and Helen; his children, Jayne Gray, Jim Jardine (Diane) and Barbara Jardine; and his grandchildren, Matthew Gray of Banff, Sandra Gray of Banff, Lyndsay Doran (Chad) of Banff, Allison Packer of Banff, Mason Packer of Banff, Trent Jardine of Banff and Niccela Packer of Banff.

In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to Alzheimer Society Sarnia-Lambton (cheques only at the funeral home please).
