He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna; his children, Brent Guay (Pam) and Kim MacMillan; his grandchildren, Ryan (Nicole), Megan (Jorden), Cohen, Kaylee and Jessa; his great grandchild William; his parents, Oscar Guay and Verna Guay; and his siblings, Arlene Milot (Garry) and Lennie Guay. He was also cherished by his extended family and loved by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Leon's memory to the Athabasca Ladies Hospital Auxiliary Association.
