He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Parker; his daughters, Sarah (Darrian) and Ashley (Connor); his mother Olga Johnson of Maple Ridge; and his brothers, Mark (Kathy) and Lance (Tracy).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Athabasca Heath-Care Auxiliary Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

He would regale us with his latest tales & analyses of current events, never hesitating to challenge our thinking. And then the fishing stories....the sceptic who didn't believe the fish had jumped into the boat....until it happened to him! He was so generous & creative, cooking paella for the campers' potluck.
