Erika Haukenfrers Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erika Haukenfrers (Athabasca, Alberta), who passed away on July 23, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Vrba and Flora; her husband Walter; her children, Robert (Sandra), Ronald (Marcie-Lynne) and Rosemarie; her grandchildren, Evan and Coral; her sister Heide Zarowny (Stewart); her cousin Ernel Zipperick; her parents-in-law, Willi Haukenfrers (Ruth), Helga Haukenfrers and Werner Haukenfrers; and her brothers, William Vrba, Alfred and Joseph. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 103 - Athabasca or to the Athabasca Healthcare Auxiliary Association.
