She was predeceased by: her parents, John (Elizabeth Koeniger) and Laurier (Mary Duplessis). She is survived by: her husband Clare Berube; her brother Michael Koeniger (Donna) of Ottawa; her children, Shelley Tkachuk (Rick), Grayson Duplessis (Janelle) and Monette Hrynyk (Allan); her brother-in-law Edward Shymoniak; and her grandchildren, Briana Ouelette (Ryan), Rylan Tkachuk (Corrine), Molly Duplessis, Addie Duplessis, Kynisha Hrynyk, Dathan Hrynyk (Caitlynn) and Jazbey Hrynyk. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In her honor, donations can be made to the Cross Cancer Institute.
