She was predeceased by: her son Emil John Jr.; her parents, Hjalmer Sallstrom and Hazel Sallstrom; her brother Doug Sallstrom; her siblings-in-law, John Starosielski, Tom Starosielski, George Cotton, Petro, Mary Labant, Pat, Stella Friel and Bob Kell; and her nephews, Lawrence Lilje and Tom Jr. Starosielski.
She is survived by: her husband Emil; her children, Norman (MaryEllen), Diane McConnell (Ellis), Andrew (Lynn) and Sabrena Saunders (Brian); her grandchildren, Lindsey Starosielski, Lisa Starosielski, Daniel McConnell (Melanie), Tanya McConnell, Aleeah Starosielski, Gage Starosielski, Ava Saunders and Elyse Saunders; her great grandchildren, Grady and Audrey; her sisters, Gladys Lilje (Ernie), Nancy Kell and Shirley Bergman (Bill); and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Sallstrom, Doreen Starosielski and Gloria Cotton. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
