With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emil Starosielski of Ashmont, Alberta, who passed away on July 10, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila; his son Emil Jr.; his parents, John and Anna; his siblings, John, Tom, Stella Friel and Mary Labant; his nephews, Tom Jr., Lawrence Lilje and Lorne Labant; and his brothers-in-law, George Cotton, Petro Labant, Pat Friel, Doug Sallstrom and Bob Kell.
He is survived by: his children, Norman (Mary Ellen Cole), Diane McConnell (Ellis), Andrew (Lynn) and Sabrena Saunders (Brian); his grandchildren, Lindsey, Lisa, Daniel McConnell (Melanie), Tanya McConnell, Aleeah, Gage, Ava Saunders and Elyse Saunders; his great grandchildren, Grady and Audrey; and his sister Gloria Cotton. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
