He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys; his parents, John Palahniuk and Helen Palahniuk; his siblings, Mary Andruik (George), Kate Buchkowsky (Buck), Jean Harris (Herb), Anne Kurrik (Bill) and Maxine McAvany (Bud); and his brothers-in-law, Walter Bidniak, Alex Trufyn and Peter Nemirsky.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Kapicki (Norm), Marcus (Roxanne), Dariel (Will) and Lane; and his siblings, Bill (Florence), Bessie Bidniak, Helen Trufyn, Evelyn Nemirsky and Claudia Gull (Ernie).
Due to Covid-19 a private Funeral Service at the graveside will be held at the Nativity of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church Cemetery at Kysylew with Archimandrite Gerasim Power officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Nativity of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church at Kysylew.".
