She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Yakoweshen and Rose Yakoweshen; and her brother Bill. She is survived by: her husband Sam; her children, Kim Kapicki (Norm), Kathy Anderson (Ken) and Nick Palahniuk (Carmen); her grandson Marcus (Roxanne); her sons, Dariel (Will) and Lane Palahniuk (Taylor); and her siblings, Agnes Loy, Pat Gubersky (Ed), Bob Mason (Lorraine) and Al Yakoweshen (Jeannette).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Lamont Health Care Centre c/o Continuing Care.".
