With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Speed (Alix, Alberta), born in Wainwright, Alberta, who passed away on May 11, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Irving. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ray; his father Allen Speed of Erskine; his children, Denise, Allen, Elizabeth, Trish and Kevin; his siblings, Diane, Randy, Laura, Russell, Sharon and Helen; and his pet Taz. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
