He was predeceased by: his parents, Petruis Jules Louis (Peter) and Antonia Cornelia Goeseels (Vriends). He is survived by: his wife Deanna Peterson of Calgary; his son Ryan Goeseels (Alicia) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Damen Goeseels of Calgary and Kayla Ferguson of Calgary; and his siblings, Wilhelmina Murphy (Charles), Dimphy MacDonald (Gerard), Christina McCabe (Danny), Elsie Goeseels, Valerie Janowitz (Marcel) of Ontario, Jules Goeseels of Alberta, Joseph Goeseels (Jean Marie), Anthony Goeseels (Sylvie) of Alberta and Danny Goeseels (Tracy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
