She was predeceased by: her parent Doris Stewart (Douglas); her siblings, Gloria and George; and her pet Rusty. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Lorne Ells; her children, Clifford Ells (Rosaline), Lynn Ells, Brian Ells, Lorne Ells and Madeline Ramka (Walter); and her grandchildren, Ryan (Cara) and Brittany. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
