She is survived by: her children, Theresa McCracken (Travis), Michael and Casey Hunter; her grandchildren, Julie and Jonah of Airdrie, AB.; her sister-in-law Leone Flarity of Milton, ON.; and her brothers, Peter and Dick (Brenda) of Pt.

Our volunteers send our sincerest condolences for the family's loss. We have applied Marlene's donation to our spay and neuter program. This will drastically cut down on the births of homeless pets in Alberta. We know that Barbara has left a legacy of kindness and compassion towards animals.”
