He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Margaret; his brothers, John, George and William (Wally); and his son Walter (Little Wally).
He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Marsh; his children, Heather (Dale), Theresa (Rick), Stephen, Lisa (Fred) and Lew (Monique); his grandchildren, Crystal (Peter), Terra, Chantelle (Greg), Devon, Jesse and Merissa; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Sophie, Milo and Mila; and his siblings, Marlyn and Robbie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19, a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date when gatherings are. permissible.
In lieu of flowers we are asking that if you want to give, please make a donation in his name to either the Alzheimer's Society of Canada (800 – 7015 MacLeod Trail, SW, Calgary, Alberta, T2H 2K6) or Parkinson Canada (120, 6835 Railway Street, SE, Calgary, Alberta, T2H 2V6) as he suffered from both afflictions.
