He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Taylor and Amy Taylor; his sister Gladys Douglas; and his brothers-in-law, Neil Douglas and Alan Douglas.
He is survived by: his sibling Ivy Douglas; his wife Betty; his children, David and Janet; his children-in-law, Rosalie and Graham; and his grandchildren, Robert, Stephanie, Peter, Emily, Cameron and Lachlan.
