He is survived by: his children-in-law, Maureen Bird, Brian Bird, Julie Dunham, Michael Dunham, Alan and Beth Charles; his grandchildren, James, Narelle, David, Shannon, Chris, Wade, Emma, Talitha, Stephanie and Arie; his great grandchild Keeyan; his parents, Hubert and Amy; his siblings-in-law, Basil Deacon, Aileen, Mervyn and Harold Harrison; and also Marie Charles.
