He was predeceased by: his son Robert Owens; and his siblings, Jim Owens, Hazel Lane and Betty Royal. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Owens and Ethel Owens; his wife Eileen; his daughter Helen Arena; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Katherine Arena and Brenda Menard.
