Philip G. Godwin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2018, at the age of 83, Philip G. Godwin (Shirley, Queensland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fitzhugh Lee Godwin, Sr. and Louise Justis Godwin. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Pruitt Godwin; his daughters, Kathy (Karl Hade), Karen (Barry Durant) and Kari (Jonathan Chapman); his grandchildren, Devereaux Rentz, Jeremiah Mullins, Tabitha Chapman, Courtney Chapman, Sarah Chapman and Chase Durant; his great grandchildren, Jordan Mullins and Abram Mullins; his siblings, Fitzhugh Lee Godwin, Jr. and Connie Rutledge; and his nephews, Stuart Deitrick, Michael Deitrick and Fitzhugh Lee Godwin III.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the Masonic Home of Virginia, P.O. Box 7866, Richmond, VA 23231, or to the Acca Shrine (Memo: Children's Hospital Transportation Service), 1712 Bellevue Ave., Richmond, VA 23227.
