He was predeceased by: his wife Joan McGregor; and his children, Christopher McGregor and Sue Addison. He is survived by: his children, Steven McGregor and Fiona (Cole); his grandchildren, Kelly, Nichola, Toni, Patrick, Jakeem and Bill; and his great grandchildren, Charli, Scarlet, Elijah and Never To Be Forgotten'.
