She is survived by: her husband Gerald C. McKinstry; her parents, Ann Higgins and John Higgins; her sister Eileen McHugh; her brother-in-law Michael McHugh of East Hampton, N. Y.; her brother John Higgins of Fort Myers, Fla.; her children, Maureen Cheesman of Alpine, N. J., Megan Ruppenstein of Darien, Conn. and Gerald C. McKinstry Jr. of Ridgefield, Conn.; and her children-in-law, John, Chris and Amy.
Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the College of Mount Saint Vincent, 6301 Riverdale Avenue, Riverdale, N.Y. 10471.
