“Hello Linda Doc and I built a relationship when Doc was President and I was Treasurer of North Pine Bush Poets. We also enjoyed an 8 day trip to Orange for the Banjo Paterson Festival in Orange in 2021. Last Sunday at the North Pine Bush Poets meeting we reflected on Derek’s contribution to the club and his poetry prowess. I recited three poems from his anthology ‘Birth of a Bush Poet’.
