He was predeceased by: his spouse Ranee. He is survived by: his children, Lakshman, Dayandra, Sunil and Mahes; his children-in-law, Kanchana, Gloria, Faye and Roshanthi; his grandchildren, Ayesha, Dillshan (Jeshika), Sanjay (Akalya), Alexander, Dushanka, Jessica and Dillshini; and his great grandchild Riaan.
