She was predeceased by: her husband Rodney; and her sons, Peter (Catherine) and Andrew. She is survived by: her children, Sue, Jo (Richard) and Ian (Lynne); her grandchildren, Lucy, Jack, Isobel, August, Cordelia, Cassie, Sebastian, Siobhan, Jess, Liam, Rabia and Kate; and her great grandchild Oceana.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made at the service for Children's Cancer Institute and Rural Fire Service Association in memory of Margaret's brother Peter who lost his life in the line of duty.
