He was predeceased by: his spouse Mary Rosina; and his child-in-law David (Cairns). He is survived by: his children-in-law, Brian, Marina (Canberra), Maree, Cath, Les (Sydney), Sue, Margaret, Stewart, Nigel, Rachel (Ballina), Derek and Angela (Griffith); and also Sonia.
