“For many years lin was a loved and treasured member of come alive gym. Part of a fantastic group of older women who regularly exercised together, but also supported one another socially. We discussed her beloved family and life before the gym. One memory which is cemented in my mind is a story of saving up to join a tennis club in london pre-war. Apparently lin had just got her raquet and gear, when the war began and the tennis never happened. Instead she joined the land army! Glenda and vince”
