He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Margaret Rankin, Graeme Rankin, Helen Symons, Greg Symons, Laurie Smith, Mei Smith, Jennifer Browne, Greg Browne and Greg Smith; his grandchildren, Liam, Sonia, Sean, Katherine Rankin, Hannah, Damian, Van Symons, Naomi, Ben, Hooydonk, Barnaby, Shannon Lee, Nick, Vincent and Justin Browne; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, William, Tate Rankin, Harvey Symons, Max and Hooydonk.
