He was predeceased by: his sibling-in-law Robert. He is survived by: his spouse Yvonne; his children-in-law, Colin, Elita, Drew, Zoe, Rhonda, Tim, Opa, Nalda and Heath; and his siblings-in-law, Kim, Shirley, Kathy, Geoff, Raelee, Bronwen, David, Evert and Jenni.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Sutton Rural Fire Service or St Peters Church may be made on the day.
