She was predeceased by: her son Lucas Hunter Martinez; and her grandparents, Eleanor, Joe, Marge and Lupe.

She is survived by: her children, Braxton, Kaeli and Anthony Martinez; her parents, Ernie Hernandez and Jennie Hernandez (Torres); and her brothers, Rick Hernandez (Marceen) and Rondo Hernandez (Becky). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
