She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore William Horn and Frances Mae Courtney Horn; her aunts, Polly Sigwardt, Jenny Johnson and Sara Lauree Billingsly; and her siblings-in-law, Raymond Bjornestad, Orval Bjornestad, Bernie Bjornestad and Patricia Burke Bjornestad.
She is survived by: her grandfather Courtney; her husband Arthur Bjornestad (Bill); her children, Lisa Bower (Keith), Wendi Michel (Mark) and Rick Bjornestad; her grandsons, Jarred Bower (Jessie), Jacob Keller (Samantha), Eric Bower and Chase Keller; and her great grandchildren, Anyston Keller, Keaton Keller, Braxton Keller and Kimber Bower.
Dixie Horn Bjornestad went home to be with God on September 3, 2018 after an extensive battle with Alzheimer's/dementia.
