He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hupp and Opal Viola Hupp (Forster); his daughter Diana Borthwick; and his brothers, Vern Hupp and Eugene Hupp.

He is survived by: his spouses, June Bond and Ellen; his brother Harold Hupp; and his children, Dani LeJeune (Ken) and David Hupp (Ruth). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
