He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John A. Shideler and Mary Ellen Shideler; his wife Nancy; his sons, John and Eric (Sadie); his stepgranddaughter Savannah; his granddaughter Jocelyn Jean; his mother-in-law Nell Whiting; his sister-in-law LuAnn Whiting (Randy Graupner); his niece Amy Funderberg (Ken); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Courtney and Alayna.
