She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Arthur Reynolds and Mildred Belle Reynolds; her husband Donald Bert Stroup; her daughter Maureen Ann; her siblings, June Brawner, Bill Reynolds, Charles Rickus and Frederick Rickus; and her daughter Judi.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judith Colleen, Virginia Lee, Patricia Lu and Rebecca Lynn; her sister Hazel Richert; and her daughters, Ginger Morris, Patti Shaw (John), Mary Lawson (Jim) and Becky Harris (Jay). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren, and many friends and extended family.
When Covid began, she and daughter Ginger would take drives and started to document all of the houses where Lu had lived in her life.
