It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vasco Gene Walton of Rock Springs, Wyoming, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasco Walton (Shone Walton) and Shone Gallegos; his siblings, Ilene Lujan, Anita Riding and Clarence Junior Walton; his son Michael James Walton; and his daughter-in-law Marie Walton.
He is survived by: his wife Connie June Roberts Walton; his children, Gene Edward Walton (Becky) and Shone Mitchelson (Rick); his brother Eldon Walton (Elaine); his grandchildren, Jeremy Walton (Megan), Joshua Walton (Clarice), Tara Stewart (Brandon), Jessica Davis (Steve), Danielle Mitchelson, Kailey Walton, Carly Walton, Cory Darlington (Kyle) and Samuel Walton; his great grandchild Ezekiel Walton; and his grandchildren, Jezebel Jones, Torrance Walton, Riley Stewart, Mikel Walton, Makinzey Fellbaum, Damon Hodges, Aria Davis, Lincoln Darlington, Hunter Darlington and Jack Darlington.
