He was predeceased by: his father Orval Elias McConahay; his wife Bessie "Sox" Lucille Hullinger; his daughter Margie; his siblings, Everett McConahay (Betty), Margie Phillips (Daniel) and Dorthy Ann Sponsel; and his grandchildren, Jaque Miller and Brian Patterson.
He is survived by: his children, Ted McConahay of Port Angeles, Fred McConahay (Marina) of Powell and Linda Miller (John) of Powell. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
