He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas and Florence Thomas; and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Sherry Robin (Marshal) of Quartzite, AZ. and Darren Thomas (Julie) of Powell; his sister LaVada Logemann of Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Toby Robin (Laura) of Boise, ID, Tonya Boardman (Casey) of Madison, AL, Ryan Copenhaver (JoLynn) of Peoria, AZ, Alisa Bissell (Brent) of Woodland Hills, CA, Nick Oliver and Jarred Oliver of Powell, WY. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
