He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Hamer and Merle Castle; and his siblings, Michael Hamer, Anthony Hamer and Lorna Larson.
He is survived by: his former wife Louise Boushon; his children, Michael Hamer of Nebraska, Kim Strasser of Spencer, Tina Pehringer (Jake) of Box Elder and Debra Walls of Springfield, Illinois; and his sister Lori Blackmore of Midwest, Wyoming. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five nieces and three nephews.
Donations in Willard's memory may be made to the Bread of Life Food Pantry in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.
