She was predeceased by: her parents, Wahba Awad and Noor Mansour; her husband Gamal Kotby; her son Mohamed; and her siblings, Adl, Ahmed, Fawkia, Madiha and Aleya.
She is survived by: her son Sam; her daughter-in-law Linda of Laramie; her grandchildren, Kenzie Gard (Jeremy) of Steamboat, CO, Jihan Kotby of Denver, CO, Tarek Kotby (TJ) of Minneapolis, MN, Scarlett and Emilia Gard of Steamboat; and also, Nohad Hammad of Egypt and Robalee Gillen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
