He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Asten and Irene Van Asten (Kempen). He is survived by: his daughters, April Dixon (Vyron) and Alysa Rotella (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Oliviana and Lorenzo Rotella; and his siblings, Joan Kelnhofer (Dan), Michael Van Asten (Tracy), Mark Van Asten (Barb), Alan Van Asten (Lori) and Larry Van Asten (Renee). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
