He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert H. McKannan and Lucille V. McKannan; his wife Marjorie McKannan (Sandstrom); his son Tommy; his sisters, Eva and Linda; and his grandson Rodney.
He is survived by: his children, Carl McKannan (Angela) of Alexandria, Mike McKannan of Gillette and Christy Reynolds (Brad) of Rozet; and his siblings, Danny Turpin (Sherry) and Carol Sue of Indiana. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
