He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Elba and Dorothy Ramser Willis; his children, Thomas Willis, Craig Palmer and Becky Keeney; his son-in-law Brian Shafer; his granddaughter Whitney Keeney; and his siblings, Barbara Martain (Russell) and John "Jack" Howard Willis.
He is survived by: his former wives, Joan Taylor and Claire Mortenson; his wife Kristine Hall Willis; and his children, Teri Berchtold (Jeff), John Willis (Kristy), Jason Willis (Debra), Blake Palmer, Brad Palmer and Cody Keeney. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
